Delta "Sees The Ticket But Not the Reservation" (LATAM)
My cruise line booked my wife and I from Orlando to Santiago on LATAM. The ticket has LATAM 045 ticket stock and all LATAM flight numbers. The initial flight from MCO-MIA is LA 8638 and is operated by Delta. I was able to get seat assignments for the LATAM sectors on the LATAM website and for the Delta segments, it sends me to Delta's website.
The first time I went to Delta's website the res was not in MyTrips but I used their search feature and found it. It even gave me Delta's record locator which differs from LATAM's locator. I was able to snag Economy seats but not Comfort+ which my PM status would normally get me. No biggie; it's a short hop. But earlier this weekend when I went back to Delta.com, my reservation was no longer there to view even using the Delta record locator. So I called Delta and the rep told me, when using the DL record locator, "I can see the ticket but I can't see the reservation." She said she can't touch the record and referred me back to Norwegian Cruise Line whose Air Department booked it. When I called NCL Air, they looked it up, said everything is OK and Delta will be able to handle it when I get there to check-in.
Frankly, I'm worried that something needs to be fixed now. (The flight is at the end of December.) Will the reservation "appear" to Delta within 72 hours of departure or does NCL or Delta need to rectify this now? Thanks!
