I am actually about to go to BKK in 10 days and may even cross paths with the AC flight (I am coming in on LX). As for the BKK security. Our last pre-covid trip was to BKK (Christmas 2019) and on December 19, 2019, clearing security was by far the worst Airport experience I had had in 10 years - even worse than the local city airport in Buenos Aires. It took us 75 minutes to clear the immigration/security line at BKK and the number of passengers with fast track is very few (i.e. on LX I think First class gets a priority clearance). Am not surprised someone may react that way if they have been used to Canadian priority clearance and expected it to work the same there.


Glad to see this new route - - will be interesting to see how well it does. Right now - anything that flies seems to be selling.
