There’s inconsistencies between the First and Comfort lists when RUCs are involved, I impulsively applied an RUC for an SBN-ATL-PBI after a laughably low placement (would’ve been mid teens on ATL-PBI as a DM on L fare). Cleared First immediately on SBN-ATL and jumped to #1 for ATL-PBI which I cleared but I was all the way at #5 for Comfort+.
It's actually predictable. RUC/GUCs don't consider C+ as a separate class, therefore will do nothing for that list. The fact that you were organically on the FC list down in the teens, means that's how many Diamonds had higher fare classes than you (which isn't hard on a L fare). What the RUC did was push you ahead of complimentary upgrades and in your specific case it appears no other medallion was using a upgrade certificate on ATL-PBI and you went to #1 on the list. The system worked how it was intended to work.
