Well, just checked into my first stay as an Ambassador......
the exact property is not important - as they have always been very nice and friendly when I stay there and it has been the hotel that I have stayed at a lot during this pathway. However:
- when I checked in early online.... a simple process, but I reached out to the hotel about getting a "quiet" room (I have been to this property many times and know which side of the hotel is more quiet than the other) and to see if there were any upgraded room available.... when I showed up, I got neither and had to push a little for a room on the quiet side of the hotel (not even on the top floor)
- the manager was at the front desk and greeted me by name - but that was not unusual or different than previous visits... and since there was a party with live music in the lobby (something they just restarted), she was floating around anyway....although, I did mention I had some future needs that I wanted to discuss with her and she gave me her card - will be interesting to see if she is able or willing to make them happen
- during my last visit, about 2 weeks ago, I left a bag of stuff that I asked them to hold for me for this visit - they cant find it
- welcome gift? nothing....I dont count a bottle of water
so, in summary - nothing has changed...but since I didnt expect anything, then I get they met my expectations?
To confirn this was a CY in the US?
