It has pretty much been answered already but since you asked me directly....I will reply. Yes, I think over this timeframe and current pricing levels this is a good deal. We have to context into account on flight pricing. Over the Christmas time period this year, I am seeing and have been seeing prices higher than I have ever seen them before. As someone that has traveled over the holidays for years, I don't remember seeing premium cabins being this high. We simply can't quality a deal based on pricing from "few years ago".

Finding an award ticket is not necessarily a walk in the park either at least not a reasonable pricing levels. You then have the two separate ticket issue to deal with. If I wasn't already committed to Thailand, I would give this one a hard look for sure.
