Trip Cancellation/Interruption requires you to return home within 60 days, so your 90-day trip wouldn't qualify.
Thanks so much for your insight. More questions on Cancellation/Interruption. Here is more details on the trip:

Award ticket paid tax with csr to Europe, stay for two weeks. Return to home city via a round the world ticket paid with csr. Stay for 1 month. Onward with award ticket arriving Europe in 20 days, stay in Europe for 6 days. Return to home city with an award ticket paid tax with csr.

I am never away from my home city for more than 30 days. Would the trip quality for the cancellation/interruption coverage given that returning to the home city is in the middle of the trip?

If I reduce the stay in the home city from 1 month to two week and reduce the entire itinerary down to less than 60 days, then would the trip qualifies?

I have read that people by nested tickets, ie, one or more RTs within a RT. How does the csr trip insurance work with that?
