A new boarding area should be operational on December 20th, after tests scheduled for December 15th. This new boarding area should be capable of handling, at peak times, 6 departing flights and will handle, in a first phase, 10 to 11 daily flights.

A second boarding area, also capable of handling 6 flights simultaneously, should be operational in mid-July 2005.

With these new boarding areas, CDG 2E should be able to handle 80% of its original capacity for next summer, an average of 4 to 5 million passengers per year.
