Looking for some real life observations as I have not flown on Qatar for some years now due to the pandemic. I would love to be able to do my next trip to UK carry-on only, but their luggage allowance (business class) seems quite small. 20 inch bag only (not 22 inch?). 15kg total. (I can get to 14kg flying Air Asia in economy with some tickets!). I flew MH yesterday and adhered precisely to their (economy) rules - but noticed I was probably the only person who did! So asking the question of frequent qatar flyers - what's the real situation for a biz class OW Emerald passenger? Do they regularly weigh luggage (will exit in Doha for 12 hours)? Any insights from the ground (and the air) welcome. Thanks.
