Yeah, but at least there (if not a US citizen) you have the peace of mind that you're still on Canadian soil, and that since you're in Canada legally (presumably), Canadian law is on your side and will protect you from the arbitrariness of US officers.... So instead of being handcuffed, locked up, cavity-searched & deported, you can only be refused entry....
