It sounds like the OP's issue has been resolved, so can I chip in with a ticketing question of my own and a puzzling delay I've had?
I called BA a few weeks ago to book an open jaw return for two passengers to the US using an Amex 241 and a GUF2. Despite the best efforts of the great person on the call, he couldn't get the booking to price. However, he told me that he would send all the details to the ticketing team. I got an email from BA the following day to ask me to call them. I did this and got a verbal quote for the taxes/charges and provided my credit card details as requested. At this point, everything was in my MMB and I was able to choose seats. A week later, I got second BA email asking me to get in touch again, which I did. It sounded like my CVV hadn't been captured, so I gave it again.
That was over a month ago and I have heard no more, but I haven't been charged either! The departure is over a month away, so I'm relaxed about it but, much as I'd like a free trip I can't see that happening, so when would I normally expect to be charged?
