Booked standard room, upgraded to Premium floor.

How are the rooms?
Not bad as I expected worse. It was pretty nice and reasonably modern. Very small window though.

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A.

What was good and what was bad?
GOOD
Decent hotel with good enough shuttle service to LAX.
Given Diamond breakfast coupon. Breakfast is what you would expect at a US HI, but with friendly service.

BAD
Rather high food costs in the bar/restaurant. Who pays $40+ for an entrée at a US HI? I paid about $100 for the room. I expect a lot of guests walk next door to the McDonalds.

Value for $ or IHG One Rewards Points? Would you return?
