Thanks for the information everyone. I called again, and asked them to contact the One World Liaison Desk. They did so, and they eventually figured out that the taxes were incorrect and that was the hold up. Now ticketed.
I still dont think AA were speaking to BA oneworld helpdesk as the oneworld desk doesnt deal with issues about fares/taxes.
Thats why BA and AA have fares/ticketing departments.
