That makes sense. The MCT rules are meant to be read by machine these days, so the surest answer is "does the GDS offer this as a legal itinerary"? I'm not very familiar with CDG (I used to do all my international flying on *A) so I don't know offhand which routings use which terminals. I definitely won't comment on whether it's a sensible connection, but it should be legal.

Most specific rule applies.

For example, there are also specific overrides for DL-DL I/D if the inbound is from Ireland (down to 1h00, presumably since they only operate from DUB with preclearance), LOS (1h30) and HAV (1h55). If the flight is from one of those destinations, that rule would apply.
