Had a great experience yesterday. I had separate bookings for my partner and I to go to Europe together, YOW->OSL, then OSL->LHR a week later, then LHR->YOW a week after that. Mine in cash, hers on Aeroplan points.

I got them as closely matched as I could, but it was impossible to find identical routings. I later called the SE desk to ask if they could do some modifications to try to match them. No, I'd have to reprice both of them entirely, would be an extra $2000+ and 100K+ points additional (with a PR too).

Emailed the concierge asking for help. They say they can edit the cash fare but not the aeroplan one. A couple hours later I have a new itinerary for the cash fare that almost identically matches the reward itinerary. No fees for doing so.

Saved my ..., my partner was not going to be thrilled about having to show up at OSL at 06:00 when I didn't have to show up until 12:00...
