Cap1 is gutting the PP benefit for this card. I guess that leaves Chase CSR as the only one that provides free meals at PP restaurants.

I'm not sure I buy the "blame Visa Infinite" line.
CNB Crystal Card (also Infinite) used to permit unlimited guests. Then it knocked back to zero. CSR also used to permit unlimited guests, then it reduced to 2. Ritz still allows unlimited guests or so I am told. All this suggests it depends on how much the issuer is willing to fork up.
It makes sense for Amex to reduce PP benefits as it has a large lounge footprint. Not so much for Crap1.

Nyet, AA is already partnered with Citi (decades long relationship) and Barclays.
So that leaves... Frontier or Spirit? LOL good luck selling a premium card to that crowd.
