Merging 2 JAL accounts or same person
Hi there! Does anyone have any experience with combining/merging 2 JAL mileage club accounts for the same person?
My husband accidentally set up a new account, not knowing that he had one from years ago. Unfortunately, he used the NEW JAL account when he transferred a boatload of Marriott points over to JAL. And apparently you can’t redeem miles for 60 days after the creation of a new account. Ideally, we’d like to transfer those miles, once posted, to his old account so we can used them ASAP. Does anyone have any experience doing this or any other advice?
(FWIW Marriot has been no help on this…)
