The flights have both a BA and an AA PNR number and I was allowed to select seats so I know they are held in the BA system, but they have been on request for over 3 weeks now. Travel is not until summer 2023 but I need to book non refundable accommodation and I would like to have the flights ticketed prior to doing so. I realize they prioritize by travel date, but I don’t want to wait months before getting a confirmed ticket.
If you are booking via AA then the BA ticketing/fares team wont have any involvement in this.

I would call AA asap as it would be their fares team that would calculate the tax amount.
