I remember flying Alitalia - you had to enter the correct airlinecode with your Flying Blue number - otherwise it was not recognized. I had to enter KL plus number (KL issued flying blue card) - my mother had to enter AF plus her flying blue number in order to get it recognized.
Ahh. That explains why I sometimes had difficulties getting my status recognised by AZ. Wish I had known that at the time.
