Approximately 20 stays here since it opened as a HR ~6 years ago plus a couple more of when it was Concourse Hotel at LAX, last stay was 4 nights 2 weeks ago.

Lounge still closed, unlikely to reopen (apparently as for many other USA Hyatt lounges).

I estimate 50-60 breakfasts here, one of the reasons I like the hotel as much as I do. 4 identical hot dishes every day (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes of some sort) with 2 other hot dishes rotating every few days. One is pancakes, French toast (excellent), waffles. Other is breakfast taco salads (pictured in post 946), different egg dish (pictured in post 1034), eggs benedict, breakfast burritos. Sliced fresh fruit rotates among 2 of watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple. Always assorted breads and pastries, oatmeal, multiple containers of various nuts and dried pineapple, unflavored Greek yogurt, whole bananas, whole apples. Plenty of smoked salmon (non-salty "Nova") every day.
I always request iced coffee (occasionally iced decaf), what I receive seems to vary. One day a gigantic Starbucks iced latte, one day a medium iced Starbucks Americano, one day a glass of iced coffee from the restaurant kitchen. I'm not a coffee snob, add some milk (on the side) and some sweetener and it's all good to me. Several of the breakfast servers have been there since it was Concourse Hotel, some remember my iced coffee request from one stay to the next.

I get and sign a check 80-90% of the time, always add additional tip which never appears on my final folio. I too wouldn’t worry too much about a Globalist dine-and-dash here.

I always request overlooking Century Blvd (and the 2 southern runways). Higher floor is more desirable.
I usually apply a SUA a week or month in advance, then contact the hotel and request Room (Regency Suite) #1232. Terrific view of airport, close to elevator, only 1 flight of stairs (not an elevator ride) to the fitness center and (TMI alert) the same side of the bed is closest to the bathroom as at home which is important when one gets up in the middle of the night as often as this old man does

Cannot recall any internet speed problems. Business center still requires upgrading of computer equipment.
