Denver used to be a great airport, but like everything else in Colorado and Denver, it is broken and worse, no one seems to care.
I'm not really sure what you're getting at here. UA just opened a huge gate expansion in B-East which is comfortable, has tons of natural light and plenty of seating. When the main B-East club is open again, there will be a club within walking distance.
UA has made it pretty clear that they intend to invest heavily in DEN as a hub... 2 total renovations of the existing clubs, plus a new club in A, and plenty of new gates to support their goal of 700 flights a day. I'm not exactly sure what else they should do? Post-COVID construction material & labor delays are the case across the country. This is hardly a Denver specific issue.
