Removing club access for international economy seats is just vindictive and petty. Club access for international for MM when I retire was something that I was looking forward to when I didn’t have Club membership.

It is kind of interesting from a marketing strategy. I’d think airlines want you loyal so that you don’t look at other fares - and I do that now because I get E+, bags and international Club access. You start chipping those benefits away and making them for a fee, do I really care who I fly- I’ll fly the cheapest/route option. Exactly what the airlines don’t want.
