Plenty of Ubers as well - about $6 each way to the waterfront, about a 15-minute drive.

Not very walkable but you do see a bit more of the real South Africa.

There's also a highly decent restaurant, easy parking (you might consider a car if exploring further afield) and a convenience store for essentials nearby.

Loft rooms can be noisy due to the wind, but they're very comfortable and spacious.
