I fly a lot of BOS-SEA, been enjoying 100% PDBs since they brought them back, great crews, snack basket makes multiple appearances, etc. Last month I did 2 LAX-SEA roundtrips, nary a PDB in sight, and the snack basket did not grace us with its presence. What the heck? I get the flight's shorter but 2+ hours is plenty of time to walk the snack basket once, as for the PDBs, can't tell what the reason was, the flights were not delayed (as in there was no rush boarding), FAs were just standing at the door but not saying/doing anything, not even the standard greeting.
