It's more or less the standard menu and service for ex-EU flights departing before 9:30 or 10:00 am, even going back to pre-pandemic times. That said, personally I'd prefer UA cater a lighter breakfast and a more robust lunch (as the main meal). Ditto for the daytime EWR/IAD-LHR flights.
