I’m glad I’m not a Delta flyer. Had I qualified for Gold or Platinum already this year, with most of my travel international and in Economy, I’d be particularly angry at the bait and switch of having been told I would have lounge access to only now not have lounge access.
I’d expect this issue will become the subject of lawsuits, complaints to states’ attorneys general, and other consumer protection advocates. I’d expect a class action over this.
