There is an email address in the status match thread, you could drop them a message, but almost certainly the status match requirements will require you spend money on buying Club TAP Miles&Go membership. I would say this is only a viable idea if you had some middle time-frame plan to efficiently use TAP and / or Star Gold, not for a one off luggage issue.

It shouldn't come as a surprise really since the information is in plain sight, but Discount is usually priced for those who go hand baggage only. Perfectly possible to do that on a 2 week trip in my experience, but some people would be uncomfortable at doing that. The pricing of Discount is such that normally it's best to go Classic, purely because if you have checked bags on a return trip, it's a simple piece of maths that says Classic is cheaper.
