It's on a per day basis, our first day wasn't prorated based on when we arrived. We did only do full board the first day (Then proceeded to go get drinks at a place that wasn't included in the full board plan 🤦 ) after the first day we stepped up to all inclusive for the rest of the stay . They allow you to switch meal plans over the course of your stay, but I believe if you are on
any plan, you have to stay on
a plan throughout your stay.
