I could avoid sending photos of the damage and got a replacement order.
Makes sense. I immediately checked the returns for the merchant in question and they require photos to be attached. Hopefully, not an issue, though.

All buying groups usually reject such packages. They don't risk it since they have to resell it. In fact lot of amazon warehouse items are just damaged packaging
Definitely, make sense. If only all packages could arrive in pristine condition
