FWIW, I decided against my stay here and stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Rome Cavalieri last week instead. Zero regrets - the WA in Rome is incredible and an absolute steal at $150/night (during may dates). They run free shuttles all day (every half hour) to the heart of town. So if you don't get any responses here or are risk averse, make sure to consider the WA if the cash rates are still low.
