Good stay at Westin Costa Mesa recently. Good pool and nice location for shopping across the street at South Coast Plaza. No real upgrades though (they have 377 rooms and 17 suites so it looks pretty hard anyway).

FWIW: VIA Newport Beach looks better, but Westin Costa Mesa was a bit cheaper on points/FNC and closer to some events that we had to go to.
