I just booked a flight with United on LH metal in PE through Chase Ultimate Rewards. Even though the Chase site says seats assignments are included, they are not. I had to pay $60 to LH per seat for an advanced seat assignment. I called United and they said I had to call Lufthansa. I called Lufthansa, and they said the seats cost $60 each. I can't find any way to talk to a human at Chase Ultimate Rewards, So, buyer beware.
