Will I get my VAT De-tax refund without scanning barcode at CDG

Got to CDG at 4:30am for a 6am CDG-LHR BA flight.

All PABLO machines are out of order.

Customs desk doesn’t open until 6am—already a line 15 people deep so we do not have time to wait.

We were told to scan the barcodes then, if Green, drop off in box.

We sealed our forms and dropped them in the box without scanning.

I can’t find anything on the internet about this so….will we get our refunds without scanning the barcodes first…?
