I'm in the LAX lounge now. There are four hot items to order. I am not sure how the food situation could be worse than American's, but it is. Breakfast has basically been reduced to bagels, oatmeal and powdered eggs. Lunch is essentially soup and salad as the only options. I am not expecting a five course meal, but even American is offering more options for lunch/dinner now, which is absurd. Between the food reduction and putting a lot of liquor behind the bar as an upcharge, I am reconsidering renewing next year and keeping Priority Pass and finding a place to eat at the airport if necessary. The Coke Freestyle machine is currently broken, and the pancake machine is nowhere to be found. At least there's real silverware and plates?
