Anyone have experience adding a lap child to an award ticket? Per Alaska, "Each infant must have their own ticketwhen traveling with our international partners. We've added your infant as an adult passenger; you'll be able to enter their correct birthdate later, on the Passenger Information page." I understand I should book a separate ticket, but has anyone tried to directly call British or Aer Lingus to add a child separately? They don't have the award availability for the additional seat and would like to gage potential success before transferring around a bunch of miles.
