Several have mentioned the Roku is a bit remote; I see the properties are only 5 miles apart, can’t we cab it to the tourist areas?

I am not sure I would want to stay 5 nights at the Roku, you will be cabbing it everywhere.I would try and stay 5 nights in town and then 2 nights at Roku. Also you are going to be pretty limited as far as dinners for 5 nights at Roku. We were at a small boutique hotel
in Kyoto that was highly rated but only $125 a night including breakfast. We both enjoyed it better than the Roku. The Roku was good but
we preferred being closer to the city and also having many restaurants within walking distance
