  • First class seats were not modified AT ALL, aside from being re-upholstered (think no footrest, and the comfort itself felt indifferent)
  • The new plane smell was very evident, carpets and lighting all made the aircraft feel new (no more of the pink-ish hue the 800s had)
  • Side panels all got replaced with a plain white design
  • Galleys and lavatories remained the same (Overhead an FA mention how they had wished they had re-done the arrangement on the galleys)
  • Mood lighting was VERY intense, which IMO is a good thing!
  • The cabin dividers being shrunk from the 800s was definitively noticeable, but nothing we aren't used to with the newer cabins
  • As for economy, seats were only re-upholstered (I assume they added memory foam), and the power outlets remain in their current location under the tray table

Overall, I liked the way the cabin looked, however, compared to the 700s, they definitively went with the cheaper option, which is why I still fully prefer the 700s, as both cabins.
I will definitively look forward to running into this cabin again in the wild.

I'll upload some photos later today
Do they still have the annoying large power boxes taking up room under the seat?
