I just stayed there two weeks ago. I did not know the bus thing. Train is easy with $7(with online purchase on phone) and no traffic but you just need time it right. You can walk to the hotel from Seoul train station I believe. Though I took a taxi to ICN and $40 once/if no time to wait.

Curious of the bus thing now...
