It might be worth noting that in these odd times land-side connections via the first wing can be fraught.

The other day, I made a land-side transfer from T3 to T5, with a couple of hours to spare. The security queue backed up into the check-in area. Staff were suggesting GGL use the business class security line - and, indeed, this was a faster and (relatively) efficient alternative.

But until things settle down, and without a very generous buffer, I think I'll grit my teeth and preserve "conformity" by going through flight connections.
