Yes, UA is not flying into HKG. Believe just NH, JL and CX are flying NRT/HND to HKG
For most *A partners, X is still an award but for a non-*A partner like CX, X maybe valid-- I had sort of assumed NH but that may be a bad guess

Update: X does not appear to be a CX economy fare class and X is business class for JL
Maybe HX??
