But agreed, from above posts it IS a gamble that AE portal works. Knocking on wood, ours have always worked out.
I don't disagree 14-16x is great, I'd have loved to earn 19x AP on my Lenovo laptop purchase (7x right now + 2x Status + 10x CC). In comparison, Rakuten is 15% today. Even at a modest 1cpp valuation, AP is offering 4% more than Rakuten. I just don't think chasing that extra 4% is worth it, I've had a much better success rate with Rakuten compared to the AP estore.

But if you're purchasing at Indigo where they're not listed on GCR, Rakuten, TopCashBack, then sure, I'd take the gamble. A chance at 14-16x vs 0x is an easy decision.
