The inconsistency and lack of customer service from the Aeroplan eStore is turning me off of them. 10 - 20x is great, but it may never materialize. There's plenty of other cashback sites which have a better track record of purchases posting, make it easy to submit missing points requests, and offer better customer service.

Rakuten is normally my go-to, they've awarded me cashback on a goodwill basis before, even when the purchase didn't get tracked properly. Sure, I don't expect AP to do that, but make the missing point process easier, and don't use unpublished fine print to weasel out of awarding points. (Unfortunately Indigo isn't on Rakuten though).
