Was thinking the same thing, though didn't go to verify the 'A' first class fare filing is truly a JV fare since UA doens't have a first class international cabin. Granted the JV is based on routes and not class-of-service, so it's a moot point.
Regardless, given how advanced their systems are, wouldn't be surprised if it still "settles" correctly among the carriers as an 'A' fare even though the booking code ended up being F
