I also do find it a little weird that they're keeping it around, as it is a bit of an oddball in the fleet now that ships 1501-1506 are gone from the fleet. Additionally, another thing that I find odd is that N169DZ and N171DZ are the only GE powered -332 birds that haven't been converted to the 76K config yet. I'm like, "C'mon, Delta! Make those two into 76Ks so all of the GE -332s are in the 76K config!" And they're like "Nah, we'll do another PW bird instead and then MAYBE we'll get around to those."
.....I think when you were referring to the "-332s", I believe you meant the "B767-300er version Z's". The -332s are Airbus' shortened A330 frames, which DL has 11 of (from the NWA merger of a "few" years ago.
