Last week, for the first time in over two years, I had my green tagged bag returned to me on the jetway in CMH. They must have hired a second baggage handler. The week prior, I had to wait two hours at baggage claim before any luggage started arriving. I was heading out the door planning to come back the next morning when the luggage carousel started moving. CMH is the worst in a lot of ways of any airport I've visited throughout the world...baggage, customer service, gate agents, TSA, Starbucks are all horrific. The folks who work at Clear are really nice, though.
Yea, I've seen a recent reduction in the ramp wait times - still no sign of urgency as the ramp crew shuffle out to marshal in the planes! To be fair, it does seem like there's always more than one plane arriving at the same time.
United @ CMH does not impress me at all - but I do like being at the gate 30 minutes after leaving down town! Also looking forward to trying out the Escape Lounge this week - should save me some $$ I normally drop at Eddie George's bar!
CLEAR are nice - but 9/10 I usually skip and just use the empty pre-check line as that is normally faster than waiting for the CLEAR agents/process!
