Sorry for the late report, we just wrapped up our RTW trip and Taiwan was the first stop, so info is from last weekend of October. Basically nothing to report. Business as usual in the country aside from wearing a mask. They hand you Covid Test kits when you land and then we took a test before heading out on a day trip first day we got there. We took a picture with timestamp of the negative test just in case, but no one asked us for anything at any time. We ate in restaurants, used public transit, etc. Everything is open. Only minor thing was that some side entrances on large buildings / hotels were closed off, maybe a holdover when they had to check everyone coming in.
We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend visiting.
