Lost Irish is a newcomer but it's the best Irish whiskey I've ever tasted. It's conditioned in barrels from 6 continents (South African brandy casks, Japanese mizunara oak, Sherry casks, Bourbon casks, Caribbean rum casks, Australian tawny casks, and Colombian rum casks) and uses 3 different styles of Irish whiskey (grain, malt, and pot still). It sounds like an absolute mess of a spirit and all the flavors should clash but instead of it being muddy it has a depth of complexity and you can pick out every cask utilized. Perhaps sacrilege but I prefer it to Green or Red Spot.
