If anyone wants to sit on the aircraft for 55 minutes before it leaves the ground, it's fine with me. I prefer not to.
If it's the choice between that and waiting 55 minutes standing at baggage claim, I'd probably get on the plane early (I'm at the airport anyway). Fortunately with Delta (at least domestically) that never happens.
