Any Guarantee of particular fare buckets? [Economy Australia]

Looking at a cash Australia open-jaw for Easter 2024. I've been looking at a number of options (using Easter '23 dates as guide) using ita.matrix software with BA and other carriers I'd consider. (In honesty, it's the layover destinations rather than the airlines themselves!)
BA looks surprisingly competitive... but only when "O" class tickets are available. Given I am travelling with 4 young kids on this trip, minimising stop-overs is fairly important and ex-EUs weren't showing great value in economy at any rate.
What is the likelihood of BA releasing tickets in this bucket? If so, when might I expect to see these?

During a sale, do BA reduce the price of a ticket in the buckets, or simply increase the number of tickets which are available in the cheaper buckets?

I've had a look at the historic fare information on speedbird.online, which shows me the lowest return fare to Sydney was available 7 months before travel. However this was for a different time of year.

I would consider BA Holidays too if this is worthy of a further look.
