To be up front all of you, I know how super annoying this specific problem is, because I also use breadcrumbs a lot, but it's looking like it will be fixed after Thanksgiving, unfortunately.
The workarounds I've been using have been the "Back to Subforum" button at the bottom of the page and the forum jump menu.
I came here a bit wary about entering a Techno-Lions den! However I came about this specific problem which seemed to occur a couple of days ago, and it is such a bore. I found that it did the same on my Ipad. I use Firefox on my desktop as a rule as I find Edge clunky but on all these browsers, this occurred.
