Even though American Express issues cards with similar names and similar benefits in various countries, the details differ. For example, in the USA market Amex Travel is outsourced to Expedia, but not in other countries. If the UK travel number is not answered I would call the number printed on the back of the card and ask if what you want to do is possible.
